Community unites to condemn violence one year after Kaiden Morgan-Johnston's death
The Morwell community came together to remember those lost to violence, including Kaiden Morgan-Johnston, who was allegedly murdered 12 months ago. The rally, organised by Kaiden's mother Sascha Johnston, drew a crowd of around 300 people.
A large crowd gathered in Morwell's main street and local park to condemn violence and remember those lost to it, one year after the death of 18-year-old Kaiden Morgan-Johnston.
Kaiden Morgan-Johnston was allegedly murdered by three people just 500 metres from his home in Victoria's east, a tragedy that has left his family and community calling for change. His mother, Sascha Johnston, organised a rally that drew around 300 people of all ages, including other families from the Latrobe Valley who have lost loved ones to violence.
