Dunolly Grain Silo Incident: Emergency Services Rush to Rescue Trapped Person
Emergency services are racing against time to rescue a person trapped in a grain silo in Dunolly, central Victoria. Multiple units have responded to the scene, with paramedics and an air ambulance deployed to assist.
Emergency services are working to free a person who became trapped in a grain silo at a facility in the central Victorian town of Dunolly this afternoon.
The Country Fire Authority said multiple units, along with Fire Rescue Victoria, responded to reports a person had become trapped in the silo just before 3:30pm.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were at the scene and an air ambulance had been deployed. The spokesperson said one person was being treated at the scene.
The CFA said the incident was still ongoing.
WorkSafe Victoria said it had been notified of the incident and had investigators and inspectors responding.
A spokesperson for the facility operator confirmed the incident had occurred at its site.
