Zach Merrett has expressed his openness to playing various roles at Hawthorn, as he looks to make an impact at his new club following his trade from Essendon.
The 28-year-old, who was Essendon's former captain, was traded to Hawthorn on Monday in exchange for the number 15 and 25 picks in this year's national draft, as well as Hawthorn's 2028 second-round selection.
A New Chapter
Merrett, who has been a dominant force in the midfield for Essendon, noted that he could also play in defence or across half-forward for the Hawks.
