Missing Kayaker's Body Found Near Geelong
A 60-year-old kayaker from East Geelong has been found dead in the water near Avalon. The man's body was discovered on Saturday evening after a multi-agency search effort.

A tragic incident has unfolded near Geelong, with a 60-year-old man's body found in the water at Avalon on Saturday evening.
Victoria Police confirmed that the body of the East Geelong man was recovered near Avalon Road at approximately 6:50pm.
The search began after an unoccupied kayak was discovered near Limeburners Bay in Corio on Saturday afternoon, around 1:30pm.
A multi-agency search effort involving Water Police, the Air Wing, Marine Search and Rescue, and SES volunteers was launched, ultimately leading to the location of the man's body.
